On July 28, Zionsville Community Schools hosted a community challenge to bring together local groups to support the Strong in Every Way initiative. Strong in Every Way is a ZCS district-wide campaign launched in 2016 to ensure optimum growth, resilience and depth of understanding for all ZCS students.
The community-building event was open to any groups in Zionsville of any size. Teams were separated into divisions and smaller groups were combined to level the playing field. Anyone 5 and up could participate.
During the competition, team members rotated through a variety of events, including cornhole, kickball, volleyball and an inner tube relay race. The competition ended with a tug-of-war challenge.
