Sherry Murray, 71, of Carmel was born in Warsaw, Ind., on Jan. 25, 1947, daughter of Mott and Mildred Johnson Bryan. She was raised in Mentone, Ind., where she was a 1965 graduate of Mentone High School.
Sherry was a member of Carmel United Methodist Church and current member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Carmel.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen and brother, James.
Survivors include her husband, Steve; daughters, Stephanie (Dean) and Stacey (Bill); five grandchildren and sister, Jennie.
Family and friends will gather from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 7 and 9 to 11 a.m. Sept. 8 at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, where the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 11 a.m.
The family requests donations in memory of Sherry be given to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church-Missions Fund or the donor’s favorite charity.
