Zionsville Community Schools students, families and community members gathered in Jennings Field Aug. 24 for an annual ZCS Booster Club fundraiser, Eagle Fest. The family friendly event featured a picnic-style meal with burgers and hot dogs, performances by ZCS student and community groups, face painting, bounce houses, raffles, discounted spirit wear and a performance by the marching band. ZCS administrators participated in a dunk tank. Admission was $7 presale and $10 at the gate. Proceeds will help to fund all ZCS middle and high school sports teams.
After the event, attendees were invited across the field to the first ZCHS football game of the season against Lebanon High School.
