Voters turn out at the polls in Hamilton County

Voters throughout Hamilton County are reporting long wait times and lines at several polling places.

In Noblesville, the wait time at the city’s largest polling location, Life Church, 2200 Sheridan Rd., the average wait time is between 30 and 45 minutes, according to staff at the church. Staff at White Rock Fellowship Church reported a wait time of approximately one hour. Another polling site at Green Valley Church of Christ on Cumberland Road in Noblesville is experiencing wait times of approximately 30 minutes as well.

Around 11 a.m., the wait time at the Masonic Lodge on Main Street in Carmel also was approximately 45 minutes. At fire station 43 in Carmel, the wait time more than an hour.

In Westfield, staff at Cool Creek Nature Center reported 45-minute wait times.

Polling sites in Hamilton County close at 6 p.m. tonight. Voters must bring their ID to vote. A list of polling sites can be found at hamiltoncounty.in.gov/DocumentCenter/View/12615/Voting-Locations-for-General-Election-PDF.
