A crowd is waiting outside Hamilton County Circuit Court this morning in anticipation of learning the fate of David J. Moore, the former Noblesville West Middle School student who opened fire in his science classroom May 25, injuring a fellow classmate and his teacher.

Moore admitted guilt last week on Nov. 5 to all 11 charges against him, which include two attempted murder charges and a slew of weapons charges.

Today, Moore is expected to receive a sentencing, handed down by Hamilton County Circuit Court Judge Paul Felix. The hearing begins at 9 a.m.

Current will be reporting on the hearing throughout the day, but as any cameras, recording devices or electronics are not allowed in the courtroom, updates may be intermittent.
