Last year’s shooting at Noblesville West Middle School drew national coverage from media outlets, but student journalists also were reporting.

Noblesville High School students Jacob Hoffman and Skye McLaughlin have been recognized nationally for their broadcast piece by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, which recently announced recipients of its annual Crown Awards. Hoffman and McLaughlin were the only students from Indiana to be recognized.
