BCForward, a global IT consulting and staffing firm, along with its subsidiary, Stafforward, has announced plans to expand in Carmel. The company announced it plans to create up to 300 new jobs by 2021 and open a Digital Innovation Academy.

BCFoward was founded more than 20 years ago in Indianapolis. The company, which moved its headquarters to 9777 N. College Ave. in Carmel approximately four years ago, has a presence in 47 states and Canada, Europe and India. According to Andrea Bartlett, vice president of digital strategy and transformation, Carmel is an ideal place for BCForward to expand.

“There is already so much growth going on in the City of Carmel. It’s becoming the home for a lot of technology start-ups and tech companies,” Bartlett said. “In Indiana, Carmel is one of the most desirable cities to live in. It’s great for families and it’s home to a lot of our customers, which makes it very convenient to do business because sometimes we are right across the street from each other here in Carmel.”

The company hopes that its Digital Innovation Academy will allow employees and customers to stay at the forefront of advancing digital technology. BCForward is investing more than $1 million to create the new training space.

“A lot of the 300 jobs that we are adding will continue to add more technology expertise into Carmel’s economy,” Bartlett said. “A lot of the jobs that we’ll be looking for are in the digital transformation space, technology analytics. These are high-paying jobs that will continue to help Carmel grow.”

BCForward and Stafforward will hire positions in technology consulting as well as administrative and clerical positions. Applications can be found at bcforward.jobs.net.
