The Noblesville Cultural Arts Commission will present the tragedy “Macbeth” in the 27th season of Shakespeare in the Park.

The six performances are set for 8:30 p.m. July 25-27 and Aug. 1-3 at the Federal Hill Commons Amphitheater.

The intriguing and bewitching story of power and political ambition is one of the most popular of Shakespeare plays. Nearly 30 actors and technical personnel, from Hamilton County and area counties, present the story of a brave Scottish general who receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day he will become king of Scotland.

The play is directed by Noblesville residents Mark Tumey and Rob Heighway.

Noblesville performers include Nikki Lynch as Witch 2 and Susan Hill as Gentlewoman. Kelly Keller, Fishers, plays Sergeant and Murderer 1.

Matt Anderson, Indianapolis, plays Macbeth and Rhonda Tinz-Mize, Anderson, portrays Lady Macbeth.

Carmel actors in the show are Tim Van Atter, Ross; Adam Christian, Lennox, and Jonathan Scoble, Seyton.

Admission is free. Guests are welcome to bring a picnic, blanket and lawn chairs.
