What to get: Nero Pasta

Price: $24.95

What to try: Nero Pasta $24.95 — If you enjoy seafood, this is the first dish you should try because it has a shrimp, crab and lobster topped with sundried tomatoes and a lobster cream sauce. The dish comes with squid ink-infused spaghetti. They are black, but do not let the color of the noodles deter you from this amazing meal.

Fritto Misto $12.00 – Lightly fried calamari, shrimp, octopus and zucchini on a platter served with a special tomato sauce. I like to squeeze fresh lemon on mine for a nice but simple added layer of flavor.

Zuppa Inglese $8.95 — This is what we call tiramisu, and this may be the best I have ever had. This Italian trifle sponge cake is moist and layered with chocolate mousse and vanilla creme.

Mike G’s take: The meaning of Convivio is living together as a way of sharing an experience together. Convivio Italian Artisan Cuisine is a place to go when you are looking for a great Italian fine-dining experience to share and enjoy meals with family and friends. Menu items include appetizers with bruschetta, meat assortments, meatballs, seafood, pizza and entrees with chicken, veal, beef and more. What I enjoy the most are the pasta dishes. The pasta is made fresh in-house and paired with different sources of protein and sauces made from scratch. You can pair any dish with a suggested wine or one of your choice. Everything is so fresh. A visit to the Zionsville or Carmel location is worth every penny.
