CARMEL

Project: New roundabout interchange

Location: 96th Street and Keystone Parkway

Expected completion: 96th Street is expected to reopen in November, with the full project done by the end of the year

Detour: Lanes on Keystone Parkway are restricted but will remain open throughout the project. Drivers can make right turns onto 96th Street from Keystone Parkway, but left turns are not available.

 

Project: Extension of Lowes’ Way

Location: From Keystone Parkway to Range Line Road

Expected completion: July 2020  

 

Project: Multi-use path installation along 136th Street

Location: Between Range Line Road and Stadium Drive

Expected completion: October

Project: Expansion of Cherry Creek Boulevard

Location: New connection between Hazel Dell Parkway and River Road

Expected completion: End of September

Project: New roundabout

Location: A partial closure at 96th Street and Gray Road

Expected completion: End of September

Project: Path installation along the north side of 126th Street

Location: From Keystone Parkway to Hazel Dell Parkway

Expected completion: October

Project: New roundabout

Location: 96th Street and Delegates Row

Expected completion: December   

 

FISHERS

Project: Ind. 37 Improvement Project

Location: Construction began at 126th Street in August, and it will be followed by 146th Street, 131st Street, 141st Street and ending with 135th Street.

Expected completion: 2022

Detour: Ind. 37 will remain open during all phases of construction, with two northbound and two southbound lanes open during each phase of construction. There will be closures on side roads with alternate routes always accessible, which will be announced upon the closures.

 

Project: Resurfacing 113th Street

Location: Between Florida Road and Southeastern Parkway

Expected completion: This project is complete, but lane restrictions may still be in place to complete striping.

 

Project: 96th Street travel lanes

Location: Between Lantern Road and Cumberland Road.

Expected completion: Utility relocation is ongoing, which is one of the first steps to add more roadway capacity to 96th Street, which is set to begin construction next year. Utility relocation will be in place for the next several months.

 

GEIST

Project: 82nd Street Improvement Project

Location: A travel lane will be added in each direction on East 82nd Street between Lantern and Fall Creek roads. This also will include street resurfacing and improvements to drainage infrastructure, sidewalks, curbs and ADA-compliant access ramps. A previous phase already completed work between Hague and Lantern roads.

Expected completion: November 2020

 

NOBLESVILLE & NORTH

Project: Logan Street Pedestrian Bridge

Location: Northbound lane of Ind. 19 closed between Ind. 32 and Logan Street. Westbound lane of Logan Street closed between Ind. 19 and Eighth Street. Riverwalk path closed.

Expected completion: May 2020

Detour: Ind. 32, Ind. 38, Eighth Conner, Nixon and Logan streets

 

Project: Roundabout construction at Beck’s Hybrids

Location: 276th Street closed between Devaney and Gwinn roads

Expected completion: On or before Nov. 1

Detour: Gwinn Road, 266th Street, Devaney Road

 

Project: 276th Street Extension Project

Location: Whetston Road closed between 279th and 281st streets. 281st Street closed between Gwinn and Whetston roads.

Expected completion: Oct. 1 and Nov. 22, respectively

Detour: 274th Street to Ind. 19 and 286th Street to Ind. 19.

 

Project: Ditch bridge replacement

Location: Joyce Avenue closed between Strawtown Avenue and 241st Street

Expected completion: Nov. 29

 

WESTFIELD

Project: Shelborne Road reconstruction

Location: Shelborne Road is closed between 146th Street and 151st Street and between 146th Street and 141st Street for road reconstruction. It is closed to all through traffic. Property owners will continue to have access to their properties. This project is part of the improvements to 146th Street, which will widen it to four lanes of traffic from Towne Road to Shelborne Road.

Expected completion: On or before Oct. 21

 

Project: Phase 5 of the Monon Trail

Location: A pedestrian bridge crossing Ind. 32. Construction is under way, and the Monon Trail is closed near Ind. 32 until the bridge is complete.

Expected completion: Early December

 

Project: Ind. 32 turn lanes

Location: At Ind. 32 and Ditch Road, this project will add turn lanes and a traffic signal. Drivers should expect lane restrictions on Ind. 32.

Expected completion: By the end of October

 

ZIONSVILLE & WHITESTOWN

Project: Citizen Water installing pipes

Location: Cooper Road is closed between Hunt Club Road and 96th Street.

Expected completion: Oct. 4

Detour: A detour route will utilize Kissel Road

 

Project: Zionsville Road reconstruction

Location: Zionsville Road lanes will be widened for one mile with the addition of a center turn lane between Technology Center Drive and 106th Street. The project also includes adding a 10-foot, multi-use pathway along the entire length of the project on the west side of the road. There also will be a 10-foot, multi-use pathway on the east side of the road from Inglenook and Zionsville Cemetery north to 106th Street. The road is closed in order to minimize cost and project duration.

Expected completion: December 2019
