On Dec. 19, the Westfield Chamber of Commerce wrapped up the year with its final membership luncheon of 2019. Chamber President Nick Verhoff led the meeting, which featured a performance by Signature Sound, a choir group from Westfield High School. Verhoff said in 2019, the chamber experienced 95 percent business retention and has grown by 77 businesses overall. Verhoff also discussed 2020 events, which include the State of the City luncheon Jan. 16, Share the Love luncheon Feb. 20 anda yet-to-be determined luncheon March 19.
