CycleBar Fishers at Fishers District held its soft opening Dec. 18, 2019 and recently announced it would hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Feb. 6 to mark its grand opening.
Owned by XPonential Fitness, CycleBar Fishers is part of an indoor cycling franchise for individuals of all fitness levels with more than 200 locations – including Carmel and Indianapolis – with 250 studios scheduled to open by the end of the year.
“It is a group-fitness format, as opposed to going on your own to Planet Fitness and figuring things out on your own journey,” said Amanda Moor, owner of CycleBar Fishers. “Our instructors are motivators. They’re doing the ride with you. They are leading you through the experience. They are not drilling into you what to do, so a lot of our folks like that because the fear and intimidation are gone.”
The Fishers studio features 45 exercise bikes with monitors that track various metrics. The bikes also coordinate with an app associated with CycleBar, allowing riders to log their efforts and view progress.
CycleBar offers multiple 45-minute ride options, including Classic, Performance, Connect, Xpress and Power. At a performance class, riders can push themselves to outperform their peers, while connect classes offer a more relaxed atmosphere, with classic falling between the two.
From Feb. 13 to Feb. 17, CycleBar Fishers will offer free classes to celebrate its grand opening. It will offer monthly specials thereafter. For more, visit cyclebar.com/location/fishers.
