The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 577 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus.
That brings to 11,210 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the virus following corrections to yesterday’s total.
A total of 562 Hoosiers have died from the disease to date. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.
To date, 61,142 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 56,873 on Saturday.
