ISDH reports 292 additional COVID-19 cases

The Indiana State Dept. of Health today announced 292 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19, bringing to 34,830 the total number of Indiana residents known to have the new coronavirus following corrections.

As of today, nearly 41 percent of ICU beds and nearly 84 percent of ventilators are available.

A total of 1,976 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19, an increase of 9 since yesterday. This includes one death previously reported as a probable case that was later lab-confirmed. Another 166 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record, following a correction. Deaths are reported based on when data is received by the ISDH and occurred over multiple days.

To date, 265,896 tests have been reported to the ISDH, up from 261,546 on Sunday.
