More than 160 members of Grace Community Church and other volunteers from the Hamilton County area will participate in a meal-packaging blitz aimed at creating 50,000 meals for hungry children worldwide Nov. 6 and Nov. 7. Grace members will package the meals in four shifts over two days.

The Hamilton County Red Cross will temporarily morph into an assembly line as volunteers pack nutritionally rich meals consisting of rice, soy, vitamins, and dehydrated vegetables with the Central Indiana-based nonprofit Kids Against Hunger, which seeks to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the United States and to feed starving children throughout the world.

Grace Community Church of Noblesville will send church members throughout Central Indiana for a Weekend of Service   Nov. 6 and 7. During that weekend, regular weekend services will be canceled and volunteers from Grace will serve those in need locally, nationally, and around the world.
