Chamber to host 10th ‘Taste of Business’

The Hamilton County Fairgrounds Exhibition Hall will be the site of the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce annual “Taste of Business” expo on Tuesday, March 29, 4:30 to 7 p.m.   The cost is $5 per person to attend.     The event, now in its tenth year, has grown annually to host 80 exhibitors and over 500 members of the public who attend to see what is new in business in Noblesville and to enjoy samples of local restaurants’ fare.

“I remember that our first “Taste of Business” offered 20 exhibitors and I think maybe 50 people attended.   Unfortunately, several other items were occurring that evening – a thunderstorm of great intensity, basketball finals, and most importantly, the President was on TV sharing with Americans that we were declaring War.   Not a great way to introduce an event to the community!   However, the “Taste of Business” has continued to grow in size and attendance to the point where we are at maximum available space at the Fairgrounds – all things considered, a great problem to have!”

The Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit business member organization, does not receive funding from any governmental sources.  Instead, funding is obtained through business memberships and sponsorships of special events.    The Chamber celebrated its 75th Anniversary of incorporation on November 6, 2010, the longest-serving business organization in Hamilton County.
