Petty to become curriculum director for Noblesville Schools

Annetta Petty, principal at Noblesville High School for the past six years, has been named director of curriculum for Noblesville Schools. Her appointment is effective Oct. 1.

Petty joined the NHS staff as an English teacher in 1983 and taught for 14 years before being named an assistant principal in 1997 and principal in 2005. She has a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, a master’s degree from Butler University, and an administrator’s license from Ball State University.

Also effective Oct. 1, Jeff Bryant will become interim high school principal. He currently is the assistant principal who oversees the NHS Freshman Campus. Stacey Swan, assistant principal at the NHS Main Campus, will move to the freshman campus as the interim assistant principal there.

The appointments were approved Tuesday evening by the Noblesville Board of School Trustees.
