Hamilton Southeastern Schools are on lockdown this afternoon following a report that Fishers Police were seeking a suspect wanted for murder near 96th Street and Allisonville Road.
According to FPD Officer Tom Weger, a Fishers police officer spotted the suspect, who’s name is still unknown, near the intersection. Fishers police set up a perimeter after the suspect fled on foot. Witnesses have reported armed officers patrolling the area.
As of 5:09 p.m., the suspect had yet to be located, according to Weger, who said Fishers Police are conducting the operation in conjunction with the U.S. Marshals. More information will be published as it becomes available.
