Carmel High School held its annual Dance Marathon Feb. 25. This year’s dance raised $261,922, and this amount pushed the total amount raised by the event to more than $1 million.To show its thanks for the support the school’s students have given for the past eight years, Riley Hospital for Children, the beneficiary of the annual fundraiser, announced at the event it will name a new teen cancer wing after Carmel’s Dance Marathon.
