Three people were arrested on drug-related charges April 11 after monthlong investigations by the Hamilton/Boone County Drug Task Force.
James Bootier, 50, and Debra Bootier, 57, of the 500 block of Plum Street, Noblesville, were arrested as part of a three-month-long investigation into the trafficking and sale of a controlled substance in Hamilton County. The Bootiers were each charged with two counts of dealing a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a Class B felony; and two counts of possession of a schedule I, II or III controlled substance, a Class D felony.
The drug task force made an arrest and the recovery of a methamphetamine lab after following a tip to a Thorntown home. Matthew Kanzler, 19, of the 3700 block of North Ind. 75, Thorntown, was arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class B felony, and possession of two or more precursors, a Class D felony. Investigators located the remnants of an ongoing methamphetamine manufacturing operation during the investigation.
