The Carmel Clay Public Library recently welcomed Judy Gareis, SPHR. She will serve as the Strategic Plan Coordinator. Gareis is the owner of HR Essentials, Inc., which provides consulting, outsourced human resources services and strategic plan coordination to a variety of clients. She holds a Masters degree in organization and leadership development. Gareis’ responsibilities include overseeing the library’s strategic plan implementation process, communication between internal staff teams and externally to the community, facilitating team leader meetings, and providing general support as needed. The coordinator position was created to ensure that the library’s strategic plan continues to move forward in a timely manner, and that the goals set forth in the plan are accomplished. It is a temporary, part-time contract position.
