SWEET MELODIES featuring Out of the Dawg House

Sweet Melodies will kick off the 2012-2013 concert season, Building a Life Through Song. This concert will feature the top three choirs in the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, along with Out of the Dawg House, the all-male a cappella group from Butler University. This aptly named concert features a truly eclectic selection of music: some Broadway, gospel, country, western and more.
PARTICIPATING CHOIRS
Indianapolis Youth Chorale (IYC), directed by Cheryl West
IYC is the mixed high school ensemble of the ICC. This choir was recently selected to perform as a featured choir at the national conference of the American Choral Directors Association, one of the most prestigious honors for a choral ensemble.
Bella Voce, directed by Trisha Scheides
ICC’s newest choir, this is the inaugural performance of this all-female ensemble.
Cantantes Angeli, directed by ICC founder and artistic director Henry Leck
An advanced ensemble that recently performed at the dedication of the Simon Family Tower at Riley Hospital for Children, and will be performing Sept. 29 at the Indianapolis Prize gala hosted by the Indianapolis Zoo.

All advance tickets are sold through ICC – NOT AT THE VENUE. Kids ages 5 and under are free
