Not poorly informed

Editor,

The law requiring current photo IDs was halted due to the short amount of time remaining before the election and the amount of voters still waiting to receive their cards. After hearing accounts of delays by frustrated voters trying to update or obtain their IDs, Judge Simpson said in his ruling, “For this reason, I accept (the) argument that in the remaining five weeks before the general election, the gap between the photo IDs issued and the estimated need will not be closed.” Judge Simpson noted the matter will be revisited in December after this election. Texas, Wisconsin and South Carolina also have postponed or blocked similar laws requiring ID, citing it violates the Voting Rights Act. Whoever wins PA will win because that is who the voters elected, not because hordes of democrat voters without identification organize themselves and show up at the polls November 6. As a side note, PA has never seen a case of in-person voter fraud.  So, actually, I don’t think you do know why there was such opposition to photo IDs and the judge ruled as he did nor should you trust that we are as poorly informed as you two.
