Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractors have reopened the 116th Street loop ramp to northbound I-69 and State Road 37 on schedule.

Milestone Contractors, the state’s contractor for the $18 million interchange improvement project, closed the looping northbound entrance ramp from 116th Street on Monday, October 15.  As construction continues on the I-69/116th Street/SR 37 interchange, INDOT would like to remind motorists that the Exit 205 ramps connecting northbound I-69 with 116th Street and SR 37 are open and will continue to remain open throughout construction.

Construction on the northbound side of the interchange started this spring.  Northbound I-69 is currently restricted to two lanes north of Exit 205 as a new two-lane flyover ramp to State Road 37 is constructed.  Milestone will begin improvements to the southbound side of the interchange in 2013.
