Tom Landshof had it right in his recent letter “Tired of It All” (Current IN Carmel, Nov. 13). Maybe more to the point, some Council members are calling for the replacement of duly appointed Carmel Redevelopment members or they will not approve the Carmel refinancing structure pending before the Council. These Council members are outside their jurisdiction here. Their duty to the citizens is to support and enhance the financial operation of the city. It is not to micromanage the members of other support committees and departments. If the pending restructure is not approved all Carmelites could be adversely impacted. Time for the Council to step up and do the right thing. Or maybe they are the ones that need to be replaced.
