The Carmel Symphony Orchestra and renowned vocalist Sylvia McNair celebrate the holidays as St.Vincent Carmel Hospital presents Holidays with Sylvia McNair, featuring two performances Dec. 8 at the Palladium. Patrons are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to the concert in an effort by St.Vincent Carmel Hospital and the Carmel Symphony to re-stock the public food pantries in Hamilton County.

Two-time Grammy Award-winning vocalist and regional Emmy winner Sylvia McNair lays claim to a three-decade, stellar career in the realms of opera, oratorio, cabaret, and musical theater, appearing as soloist with nearly every major opera company and symphony orchestra in the world.

The concert will feature traditional and contemporary holiday favorites – including It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Baby, and more – as well as an audience sing-along.

“We are proud to be performing with Ms. McNair in the prestigious hall of the Palladium,” says Dr. David Bowden, Artistic Director of the Carmel Symphony. “Sylvia is one of the most astonishingly gifted soloists I know. It is a privilege for us all to perform with her again.”

Flex 4 and Family Pack (Holiday concert and Family Fun! on February 3) subscriptions are available through Dec. 7 by calling the Carmel Symphony office at 844.9717 or by visiting CarmelSymphony.org. Single ticket purchases are available by visiting TheCenterPresents.org or by calling the Center’s Box Office at 843.3800.
