Last week, the Carmel Chamber of Commerce announced the first three winners of its annual Images of Excellence Awards.
- Look – Renovation: Happy Dog Hotel and Spa (233 2nd Ave. SWl)
- Look – New Construction: Lake City Bank (100 W. 96th St.)
- Carmel Green: Regions Bank, 2155 E. 146th St.
Nominees for both Look awards were judged on the quality of work, appropriateness of the construction to its surroundings and the contribution of the project to the overall look of the community.
The Carmel Green award recognizes a Carmel organization, company or association that is solving environmental challenges using innovative and green practices or by setting up creative partnerships to enhance the environment.
Winners of the Applause Award for Business of the Year, Most Valuable Volunteer award and the Chamber’s new Lifetime Achievement Award will be revealed at the Images of Excellence Awards Luncheon on Wednesday.
