Book Warehouse, a discount bookstore, is now open for business in its first Indiana location at Merchants Square, 2186 E. 116th St. Book Warehouse is a community-driven bookstore which participates in literacy drives, offers educator discounts, partners with local libraries and donates books to United States troops.
“As a long time resident of Carmel, I am very familiar with Merchants Square. It is located in the heart of Carmel, is easily accessible, and has many choices for shopping. For me, it made perfect sense to open our store here in Carmel,” said Tim Waltrip, owner and manager of Book Warehouse of Carmel.
Waltrip is a 34-year resident of Carmel and has worked for Book Warehouse as a regional manager for the past five years.
“As the book industry is ever changing, we continue to meet the needs of our customers. Discounting our books 55- to 80-percent off the original publisher price, we offer a great product at a fair price,” Waltrip said. “Who doesn’t love a good book?”
