Last week, three new Carmel Police Dept. officers were sworn in by Mayor Jim Brainard at City Hall. All three officers have served as part of other departments across the country. Office Jonathan Rice was formally a Warsaw Police Dept. officer. Officer Luke Gossett was formally an officer with the Tuscan, Ariz., police department. Officer Christopher Bay formally served as part of the Indianapolis Airport Police Dept.
