The Zionsville Dept. of Parks and Recreation will begin removal of invasive Bush Honeysuckle on the Zionsville Rail Trail beginning Thursday. Removal of the plant will occur on an approximately 10-acre corridor by the application of a basal bark herbicide directly on the plants to be removed. Eradication of these invasive, non-native plants will help create a healthy, more diverse wildlife corridor.
