On Saturday, March 23, St.Vincent Fishers Hospital will host its pre-opening event for the local community at 13914 Southeastern Parkway (off I-69 and Exit 210).
St.Vincent Fishers Hospital’s 110-square foot expansion will focus on wellness, women’s health and family health. The new hospital encompasses 30 medical/surgical beds, 10 labor-delivery-recovery-post-partum beds and 10 observation beds. In addition, the three-story hospital has spa-like amenities, indoor and outdoor dining, and convenient 24-hour room service for patients.
The pre-opening event will include the following:
- Self-guided tours of the new St.Vincent Fishers Hospital
- Health screenings (blood pressure, BMI, balance screenings)
- Photos with the Easter bunny
- Child identification cards
- Healthy snacks
- Children’s health education
- Healthy skin display
- Childbirth education classes
- Giveaways
The St.Vincent team is actively in the pursuit to secure Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certification for Fishers Hospital. St.Vincent is the first hospital in Indiana and the 17th in the nation to register for the LEED certification process.
In 2008, the faith-based health system opened Indiana’s first freestanding emergency department at the Fishers location. In addition, the facility has an ambulatory surgery center, all-digital imaging center, and a medical office building including primary care offices, a pediatric and adult sleep disorders center, rehabilitation, laboratory and mental health services.
St.Vincent Fishers Hospital will officially open to the community on April 8, 2013.
