Local chain restaurant Flap Jacks, which opened a Zionsville location in 2012, is now under new ownership. Johnny and Doris Maples, who also own the Flap Jacks at 7435 W. 10 St., have taken over the Zionsville location, 6705 S. State Road 334 near I-65. The restaurant is also now open for dinner as of May 14.

Flap Jacks is known for its freshly-prepared, home-style dishes like buttermilk pancakes, eggs any style, crepes, gyro sandwiches, roast beef Paninis, two daily soups, burgers, melts, tenderloins and more. Customer favorites include the bacon cheeseburger soup, peanut butter pancakes, waffle cheeseburger, hand-breaded cheeseburger and turtle-stuffed French Toast.

The dinner menu includes entrees such as meatloaf, chicken noodles, country fried steak, Greek chicken pasta and Italian sausage pasta, along with appetizers and desserts. The dinner menu is available after 3 p.m. and the lunch and breakfast menus are available all day.

“We’ve been embraced by the Zionsville community so far and it’s been a pleasure to get to know so many of our regular customers,” says Doris Maples, owner of the Zionsville Flap Jacks. “From moms on Mother’s Day to kids in their soccer uniforms, Zionsville has been a great addition. We’re excited to give folks in Boone County an affordable, home-style restaurant to add to their options when going out to breakfast, lunch or dinner!”

Flap Jacks is offering a limited time coupon for a free short stack of pancakes when new customers “like” their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/FlapJacksIndianapolis. Visitors should click the Coupon tab and print out the coupon or show it to their server on a smart phone.

Flap Jacks is open Tuesday-Saturday from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sundays and Mondays from 6 a.m.- 3 p.m. The restaurant also offers catering and take-out services. Visit www.flap-jacks.com for more information or call the restaurant at 317-344-2222.
