State trooper waves gun in restaurant, had .27 BAC

An Indiana State Police Trooper was arrested after reports of him waving a gun at Sahm’s Bar and Grill, 7870 E. 96th St., came in and charged with criminal recklessness with a weapon, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting law enforcement Sunday.

The Oakland City man, Christopher Dyer, 30, left Sahm’s when the police arrived at the scene, FPD stated in a release.

Dyer was found walking by North by Northeast Blvd., and was discovered to have a blood alcohol content of .27 percent.

Dyer pushed an FPD officer, leading to handcuffing.
