Hearthstone Coffee House & Pub, 8235 E. 116th St., is being transformed to Hearthstone Bistro.

A place to grab a latte or cappuccino during the day or wind down with a pint of locally brewed craft beer or a martini after work, the restaurant is being renovated to include a new layout, expanded kitchen, swift, welcoming table service and a bigger selection of food to serve at lunch or dinner.

Hearthstone Coffee House opened in 2011 under the ownership of local residents, Mark and Sandy Goff. The Goffs wanted to create a gathering place for friends, neighbors and colleagues to connect in a relaxed environment without distractions or time pressures.

Hearthstone Bistro will still offer the full coffee bar and locally sourced craft beers customers were accustomed to at Hearthstone Coffee House & Pub, including the restaurant’s own Bavarian Chocolate Coffee, infused with People’s Brewing Company’s own porter. Live music will continue to play on Friday and Saturday nights.

Visitors will soon be treated to a full menu of gourmet sandwiches featuring signature sauces such as Hearthstone Secret Sauce and Espresso BBQ, as well as baked pastas and homemade desserts including bread pudding and coffee cake.

“We¹re looking forward to adding table service and a great new fresh food menu to our already popular coffee, espresso and craft beer offerings. When coupled with our comfortable, casual environment, the result will be a unique new full-service restaurant that can only be found in downtown Fishers,” Mark said.

The restaurant will offer a loyalty program rolled out for frequent diners. Details will be shared once the bistro is open. Beer enthusiasts can continue to enjoy the benefits of belonging to the Mug Club, which includes a free size upgrade on any craft beer or coffee and 10 percent off all food orders with an annual membership fee of $35.

Hearthstone Bistro will have its grand opening on Oct. 3. Hours will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. The bistro will be closed on Sunday.
