The holiday season officially kicks off Nov. 29 as the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce will once again host the annual “Tree Lighting Ceremony” at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton County Judicial Center. The free event, which is open to the public, features area choirs and soloists and Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear will read “T’was the Night Before Christmas” to the children. The musical and narrative showcase will end at 8 p.m. with the singing of “Silent Night” on the Courthouse steps while the lighting of the Square takes place.

“I cannot think of a better way for the holiday season in Noblesville to begin,” stated Chamber President Sharon McMahon, adding the event is the organization’s gift to the community. “The chamber has been presenting this very special program for many years now, and I know that Noblesville residents mark their calendars early for this wonderful evening. We invite everyone to join us as we celebrate Christmas in Noblesville.”

McMahon said the chamber will be accepting unwrapped, new toys which will be donated to the Noblesville Fire Dept.’s annual food and toy for those less fortunate in our community.
