Obituary: Mary Ann Schilt

Mary Ann Schilt, 86, of Noblesville, died on April 3, 2014 at Harbour Manor Care Center in Noblesville. Born Dec. 10, 1927 in Rochester, Minn., she was the daughter of Fay and Nolene (Schmidt) Squire.

She was a homemaker and attended Grace Community Church. She loved to work in the yard, enjoyed cooking, and experienced a lot of adventures. She was an avid out-doors person, delighting in canoeing, sailing and traveling. She loved being involved in the church, but most of all, she cherished time spent with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her sons, Andrew Ayars Schilt and Dr. Bruce Franklin (Pamela Jane) Schilt; daughter, Nolene Adele Schilt; grandchildren, Steven Bruce Schilt, Peter Nielsen Schilt and Julie Christine Poole; and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Micah, Colton, Anna, Abigail and Owen Schilt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Ayars Schilt; son, Erich Squire Schilt; and brother, William Squire.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. April 14 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Rd., Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 6 p.m. The Rev. David Rodriguez will officiate.
