Grab your blasters! Ready your lightsabers! The Star Wars Day Festival is returning to the Fishers Library!  You don’t want to miss the intergalactic fun and activities planned for Saturday, May 3rd from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will feature author Jason Fry signing his newly released book LEGO Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary, Updated and Expanded. The afternoon will include a musical performance by the il Troubadore Klingon Music Project with special guest, the Wookie Cellist. Throughout the day, participate in a Jedi Training Camp for children, explore the science of Star Wars at exploration stations, or test your movie knowledge in trivia challenges. Other festival highlights include photo opportunities with Star Wars characters wearing movie-quality costumes, chances to win Star Wars books and other prizes, and the opportunity to see the work of Sillof, a custom Star Wars toy designer. Whether you are interacting with real robots or making your own Yoda ears, this event has something for Jedi Masters and Padawans alike. For more information, visit www.hepl.lib.in.us.
