A two-car accident has sent four individuals including one juvenile to the hospital on April 30.

At 2:17 p.m. today, police officers from the Noblesville Police Dept. responded to the 1600 block of Greenfield Avenue. A short time later, officers arrived on the scene and located two vehicles and five occupants involved in the crash.

NPD Spokesman Lt. Bruce Barnes said based on preliminary information, a 2007 Pontiac G6, driven by Melvin R. Haskett, 34, of Anderson was traveling westbound on Greenfield Avenue when for some unknown reason the vehicle crossed left of center and collided head on with a 2006 Hyundai Accent, being driven by Sabrina L. Topp-Trujillo, 25, of Fishers that was traveling eastbound.

Barnes said Haskett was transported to Riverview Health and was treated and released. Topp-Trujillo and passenger, Diamond L. Le Dudley, 23, of Indianapolis of the Hyundai were transported by ambulance to I.U. Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. One juvenile passenger in the Hyundai was transported by ambulance to Riverview Health and later to Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. Another juvenile passenger was present in the Hyundai but did not sustain any injuries. Barnes said the juveniles were 4 and a baby younger than 12 months old.

Barnes said none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.

NPD accident reconstructionists are investigating the crash. Greenfield Avenue was temporary closed as investigators collected information and evidence pertaining to the crash. The cause the incident is under investigation.
