Clark will report to Central Indiana Chancellor Kathleen Lee. The focus of the local campus president will be outreach to the greater Hamilton County community. In addition, Clark will manage the day-to-day operations while fostering a campus climate that is consistent with the College’s core values.

“Ivy Tech Community College has high quality and affordable education opportunities for all students. From courses that transfer to 4-year colleges, to associate degrees in growing occupations, to industry certifications for technical jobs, Ivy Tech has a place both for high school graduates starting college and adults seeking to upgrade their skills,” Clark stated. “I am looking forward very much to working for a college that will partner with the schools, businesses and community organizations of Hamilton County to strengthen the local economy and continue advancements in the quality of life.”

Clark most recently served as executive director of Indiana Education Roundtable, a position he was selected for by the governor, superintendent of public instruction and commissioner for higher education. He also served as senior adviser for the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning and a consultant for Complete College America. Prior to these positions, he served as the director of college and career readiness for the Indiana Dept. of Education.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Clark to Ivy Tech Community College as the president for our newest campus,” stated Lee. “His extensive background and service in education will make him a great leader and visionary in the Hamilton County community.”
