Letter: Seidensticker ‘has no idea what it takes’

0

Editor,

Carmel Councilman Seidensticker is an embarrassment the City of Carmel. He needs to stick his head between his knees and kiss his A… goodbye. He has no idea what it takes to represent his constituents. In my opinion, he is just trying to get his name in the headlines.

I speak from experience trying to work with Councilman Seidensticker. In 2007, I tried e-mail, phone calls, U.S. Mail to reach him to discuss a variance issue that was affecting our district. After many attempts, I could NEVER get him to reply to my calls, e-mails or letters. So, in desperation, I contacted the other Carmel Councilmen advising them, that if this variance issue was occurring in our district, it could also affect their districts. It wasn’t until I had a positive interaction with Carmel Councilmen-At-Large, Ron Carter, where he expressed genuine interest in my concern for Carmel and a willing to help, did that I hear from Mr. Seidensticker. In my opinion, his record shows that Councilman Seidensticker , doesn’t have a sense of how to represent the needs of Carmel citizens.

I agree that the inter-workings of the City of Carmel relative to debt, is not a joke. But to expound such a statement in any verbal or written communication, is highly unprofessional and not worthy of another consideration for term of Carmel Councilman for Mr. Seidensticker.
