Leigh Ann Akard, of Akard True Value Hardware, is helping to gather Christmas gifts for a local family in need.
According to Akard: “This is a family of six that has been caring for a friend of their daughter’s as if she were their own making it a family of seven. This is a hardworking family of seven. They have asked for nothing and do not even know about these efforts. Let’s the make this Christmas one they will remember forever.”
