The National Weather Service has issued an Ice Storm Warning for Hamilton County from 4:00pm this afternoon until 7:00am on Monday followed by a Winter Weather Advisory for ice and snow until 1:00pm on Monday. Current forecasts call for up to ¼” of ice starting as early as 1:00pm on Sunday. Freezing rain and sleet will create hazardous conditions on roads and sidewalks. With the amount of ice being predicted, some power outages are possible due to the weight of ice on lines and tree branches.
