Obituary: Alma Lee Snow

Alma Lee Snow, 84, of Noblesville, died Jan. 30, 2015 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. Born Dec. 1, 1930 in Castleton, she was the daughter of Gilbert and Edna (Greene) Benge.

She was the youngest of 14 children, a homemaker and also a licensed cosmetologist. She loved gardening, cooking, NASCAR (especially Dale and Dale Earnhardt Jr.) and football, especially Peyton Manning and the Cincinnati Reds. She will be remembered by many for her love of singing and her guitar playing.

Survivors include her children, Orville (Nancy) Snow Jr., Sharon Carter, Amy Dunn, Melissa Snow and Angela Snow; grandchildren, Kevin Snow, Dwight O. Carter II, Hannah Snow, Haley Snow and Ashley Carter; seven great-grandchildren; and special loved ones, Kayla and Jacob.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orville G. Snow Sr.; son, Kevin L. Snow; great-grandson, Dwight Carter III; and 12 siblings.

A graveside service with burial will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 3 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd., Indianapolis.
