Governor Pence vows to shorten ISTEP testing

At a press conference this afternoon, Gov. Mike Pence said he has issued an executive order to shorten ISTEP testing times this year.

This comes after weeks of parental and teacher concerns surrounding the testing which was geared up to last longer than 11 or 12 hours for public school children next month. Last year, testing lasted 2-3 hours.
