The Zionsville Lions Club held its annual EGGnormous Egg Hunt on April 4, with hundreds of children of all ages filling the park to search for eggs filled with candy and prizes. Also during the event, the Zionsville Alpha Leos raised more than $250 through a bake sale to help put together birthday boxes for children in need who might not otherwise get a party. The event is the first of five annual community events organized by the club and serves as the opening of the park for the year. The next event will be the July Fourth celebration.
