We are writing in support of Jeff Worrell for City Council. We have known Jeff for many years, and we believe he is a person who can change the tone of politics in our community. We see him volunteering for virtually every major Carmel event, and we see him get things done through his positive attitude, energy and pure force of will.
We cringe when we pick up the paper and read the stream of accusations and criticisms of the elected officials who have put Carmel on the map and made it the envy of the Midwest. Mayors and city planners from around the country visit Carmel to learn how to improve their cities and attract new businesses and the talent to grow them.
We deserve representation by Jeff Worrell who gives his time and energy to make Carmel the family-friendly place it is. You won’t hear him berating those who built this community — or those with whom he disagrees. But you will see him nearly every weekend working on some city festival or parade or concert…and when you see him, you are likely to see him smiling, solving problems, helping, and modeling the behaviors that keep Carmel moving forward.
When you go to the polls on May 5, we ask you to vote for a statesman, Jeff Worrell, and allow him to return civility, collaboration, and trust to our City Council.
