On May 8, from 7:30 to 10 p.m., the Carmel Mayor’s Youth Council (CMYC), alongside Carmel High School Student Government, will host Music for Miracles & Art Gala at The Palladium at the Center for Performing Arts.

Everyone is invited to join Carmel Clay School students for an evening of talent at Music for Miracles & Art Gala. Music for Miracles and Carmel Art Gala were once separate annual fundraising events, now combining for the first time to raise funds to benefit Riley Hospital for Children. Select students will showcase their talents in both the music and art realms to create a magical night of the arts to create miracles for the children at Riley. Although the event begins at 7:30, doors will open at 6:30 to accommodate for the wonderful opportunity of viewing and purchasing student artwork in the lobby before the show.

Highlights of the night include the Carmel High School award-winning Ambassador and Accent show choirs, along with a unique electric orchestra and jazz trio performing high-energy variations of favorite tunes.

“These students are so incredibly talented,” Leah Zukerman, CMYC Vice President of Expansion, said. “There are groups and individual musicians who will just blow the audience away. Not to mention, there are all sorts of artists who submitted their work; from photographers to painters to sculpturists – the work is astounding.”

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at www.thecenterpresents.org or by calling the box office at (317) 843-3800. If interested in purchasing box seats, please email [email protected] for pricing and an invitation to the private reception.
