Family and friends of Traders Point Christian Academy are invited to join the school in honoring its retiring teachers at an Open House from 4 to 6 p.m. May 12 in the school’s JK Stevens Commons.
Preschool teacher Anna Bernhardt, kindergarten teacher Emily Shreve, first grade teacher Debi Huskins, fourth grade teacher Paula Fisher and choir teacher Gail Powell will be retiring from full time teaching at the end of the school year.
“Please join us as we celebrate the careers of five dedicated TPCA teachers who have faithfully educated, loved and served the children of Traders Point Christian Academy for many years and are now retiring from full time teaching,” Head of School Ron Evans said. “We want to publicly say thank you to our team of amazing teachers.”
Friends and former students of these teachers are invited to send them notes in care of Executive Assistant Elisabeth Fischer, Traders Point Christian Academy, 6600 South Indianapolis Road, Whitestown, Indiana 46075.
