Police have located a 15-year-old Zionsville boy reported missing earlier today in Chicago. Zachary Lane was last seen at 10:30 a.m. in the Zionsville area.
Zionsville Police Department Chief Robert Knox said that the boy’s father was on his way to Chicago Thursday afternoon to pick him up. Police are still investigating why the boy decided to drive himself to Chicago.
“I don’t know if it’s a runaway [situation]or a little joyride,” Knox said. “We’re still working that out.”
Knox also said that the boy doesn’t have any known connection to Chicago.
