Road construction updates – Week of May 11

96 Street at Lantern Road 

Temporary lane restrictions will be in place Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14 on 96 Street at Lantern Road. During this time asphalt patching will be completed. This project is weather dependent and updates will be posted on the @DriveFishers Twitter account as they become available.

106 Street east of Allisonville Road

Beginning Monday, May 11 there will be lane restrictions on 106 Street east of Allisonville Road. Restrictions will be in place until Wednesday, May 13 as crews repair potholes.

116 Street east of Hoosier Road

Beginning the week of May 11, periodic lane restrictions should be expected along 116 Street just east of Hoosier Road to allow for traffic signal installation. Weather permitting; this should be the last week for lane restrictions.

North Street

North Street will be closed beginning on Tuesday, May 12 until Tuesday, June 9 from Municipal Drive to the east side of the railroad tracks. The sidewalk and parking stalls on the east side of the railroad tracks will remain open during this time. A detour route will be available south on Maple Street to 116 Street, west to Municipal Drive then north to North Street.

Windermere Phase II Area B-8 Stormwater Improvements Project

This project was approved by the Board of Public Works on March 23. Utility relocation is underway, and once complete Fishers DPW will begin upsizing storm pipes in an effort to decrease roadway flooding. This project will take place near the intersection of Windermere Boulevard and Windward Pass in addition to work on Stillwater Court and Bent Creek Lane.
